To prepare ginger mint lemonade, first, pluck a few mint leaves from the stem and wash them thoroughly. Then peel the ginger and grate them.
Now take a pan and add sugar, water, mint leaves, and grated ginger one by one to it. Turn on the flame and allow the mixture to boil. Then turn the flame to low and simmer the mixture for 20 minutes. Turn off the flame and put the pan down. Then strain the mixture nicely in a large mixing bowl or pitcher and allow the content to cool down completely.
Note: At this stage, you can store the concentrated ginger and mint lemonade syrup in the refrigerator for a week for later use. Transfer the syrup to a glass bottle and close the lid before refrigerating. Just take out the concentrated syrup from the refrigerator and then pour 2 tablespoons of it into the glass. Then add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and fill the glass with cold water to enjoy the drink.
Then add chilled water, and lemon juice into the mixing bowl or pitcher and stir it gently. Add some lemon slices and ice cubes for some extra flavour to make the drink chill.

- 1 inch Ginger, grated
- ½ cup Sugar
- 1 cup Water

- 3 cups cold Water
- ⅓ cup Lemon juice
- 5-6 Lemon slices
- 10-12 Ice cubes
