How to make white chocolate fudge
Ingredients:
- 200 grams White chocolate chips
- 125 grams condensed Milk
- 10 grams Butter
- ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of Salt (App. 1/8 teaspoon)
- 1 tablespoon Christmas sparkles for topping
- 1 teaspoon Butter, to grease the box
Instructions:
- First take a cake tin or a box. Make sure it’s completely dry, with no water droplets at all. Then grease it with butter. Line the box with parchment paper. Make sure to cover the sides of the box so that you can easily remove the fudge after setting up.
In a microwave
- Take a medium size microwavable bowl and add white chocolate chips, condensed milk and butter into it.
- Microwave it on full power (800 Watt) for 1 minute. Take the bowl out and stir it nicely to melt the chocolate chips. If it is not done, then again place it into the microwave and microwave it for 15 seconds. Stir the content. For me it took exactly 1 minute.
Note: The duration to melt the chocolate chips may vary due to the quality of chocolate, quantity and of course due to the power of the microwave.
- Add vanilla extract, salt into the bowl and give a quick mix.
- Pour the mixture into a wax paper lined box (Step 1) and tap the box to set the white chocolate mix. Make the top even with the back of a spoon or a spatula if required.
- Sprinkle some Christmas sparkles over the top and refrigerate it for 2-3 hours to let it get set.
- Take out the white chocolate fudge from the refrigerator. Take it out of the box and remove wax paper. Slice the fudge evenly into square pieces.
- Take a saucepan and white chocolate chips, condensed milk, butter, vanilla extract and salt into it. Put the flame in low to medium low and stir it frequently. This process will take around 6-8 minutes to melt the chocolate chips. Be patient, don’t put the flame in high. It must be done in low heat or else the chocolate may burn. Stir the content until the chocolate get melted completely. Switch off the flame and put the pan down.
- Then follow from Step 5 mentioned above ‘In a microwave section’ for further instructions.
