Ingredients of chocolate coconut fudge
Milk chocolate bar: Always use either semi-sweet chocolate chips or baking milk chocolate bar. It melts quickly and gives perfect texture to the fudge.
Condensed milk: Another necessary component of the recipe. It can’t be replaced with evaporated milk or cream cheese. The sweetened condensed milk gives perfect sweet taste and firm texture to the fudge.
Shredded coconut: It enhances the taste and texture of the fudge recipe.

How to make chocolate coconut fudge
To prepare the chocolate coconut fudge recipe, first dry roast the shredded coconut on a pan over medium flame for 2-3 minutes until it becomes dry and the excess moisture evaporates.
Break the milk chocolate bar into small pieces and melt it either in microwave or directly in a saucepan on hob.
By using microwave, the Christmas fudge recipe becomes much quicker and easier. But still many people are not comfortable to use microwave. So, I have mentioned both the methods below to prepare it.
In a microwave
Take a medium size microwavable bowl and add milk chocolate pieces, condensed milk into it. Microwave it on full power for 1 minute. Take the bowl out and stir it nicely to melt the milk chocolate. If it is not done, then again place it into the microwave and microwave it for another 15 seconds. Stir the content to melt the chocolate completely. For me, it took exactly 1 minute to melt the baking chocolate bar.
On stove top
Take a saucepan and add the milk chocolate pieces and condensed milk into it. Put the flame in low to medium low and stir it frequently. This process will take around 6-7 minutes to melt the chocolate. Be patient, don’t put the flame in high. It must be done in low heat or else the chocolate may burn. Stir the content until the chocolate melts completely. Switch off the flame and put the pan down.
Add the dry roasted shredded coconut into the chocolate mixture and mix it quickly.
Pour the mixture into a wax paper lined box and tap the box to set the chocolate mix. Make the top even with the back of a spoon or a spatula if required. Sprinkle some extra roasted shredded coconut over the top and refrigerate it for 2-3 hours to allow it to get set.
Take out the chocolate coconut fudge from the refrigerator and remove it from the box and wax paper. Slice the fudge evenly into square pieces.
