Oreo cookies: One of the primary ingredients for the recipe. It provides body to the cookies. You can use any variety of Oreo cookies for the recipe.

White chocolate: It is used in two different ways for the recipe. First to coat the cookies evenly and secondly to appear the mummy look.

Candy eyes: The most important and effective ingredient to give a spooky look to the cookies.

• 1 medium bowl
• Tray or flat plate
• Wax paper
• 1 Icing bag

There is no hard and fast rule to prepare this Oreo mummy cookies. You can use your available ingredients and own creativity to prepare it.

• You can use choice of your chocolate, like dark chocolate, milk chocolate or white chocolate for the recipe.
• If you are using white chocolate, then you can add different vibrant colours too into it for variation.
• Even you can use alternate-coloured Choco chips or candies instead of candy eyes.
• Instead of Oreo cookies, you can also use other cookies as well.
• You can add a pop stick too in each cookie.

To prepare these Oreo mummy cookies, first take the white chocolate chip into a bowl and melt it either in microwave or on a double boiler on hob. By using microwave, the process becomes quicker and easier. So, I have used microwave for this task.

Take a medium size microwavable bowl and add white chocolate chips. Microwave it on half power for 20 seconds increments. Take the bowl out and stir it nicely in each interval. Repeat the process until the white chocolate melts completely without any lumps.

Then take one Oreo cookie at a time and dip it into the melted chocolate and coat it evenly. After this, place the cookies on parchment paper lined plate or tray with the help of a fork. Refrigerate it until the chocolate coating gets hard.

Place an icing bag in a glass. Then transfer 2 tablespoons warm melted white chocolate into the icing bag and cut the tip with a scissor. If the chocolate gets hard, then heat it once more on half power for 10 seconds.

Add some melted chocolate with the icing bag in the place to fit the candy eyes. Then add the candy eyes carefully over the spotted areas. Drizzle chocolate over each Oreo cookies, avoiding the eyes, to give it a look like the bandage of the mummies. Then allow the cookies to get set.

7. Add some melted chocolate to fit two candy eyes close to each other on each cookie. Then add the candy eyes carefully over the spotted areas to look like mummy.
8. Drizzle white chocolate over each Oreo cookies avoiding the eyes to make the bandage of mummies.
9. Allow the cookies to get set.
